Perfect Saint

Can you guess the greatest moment in my life?  Many people think it was when Heavenly Father first promised to make me into a great nation and that all the people of the earth would be blessed through me.  Other people think it was when Isaac was born.  And some think it was when the angel of the Lord stayed my hand as I was sacrificing Isaac.  But they are all wrong.  The greatest moment in my life was when the great Yahweh declared me righteous.  The prophet Moses captured this moment when he wrote: “And he believed in the Lord; and he counted it to him as righteousness.” (Genesis 15:6)

If you are scratching your head saying “Why that moment?  Why is that such a big deal?” you are not alone.  Unfortunately many people do not understand the significance of this simple pronouncement.  In fact, it is a bit of a spiritual mystery.  That is why I’ve written this journal; to use what was been written about my life to help others understand the significance of Heavenly Father’s declaration.
