Bathsheba's Journal A Tale of Two Rings Part 2
The Gift of Failure
When the Messiah paid the debt of the world's sin he shattered the chains of 'forgiveness only when you are worthy'

His Yoke is Easy

I can tell you from experience his yoke is easy.  His yoke burst my chains of slavery.  Now that I feel the full intensity of Heavenly Father’s love my heart’s desire is to thank him, to praise him, to bring him glory.  I no longer strive to work for his blessings.  I am no longer obligated to work to get something for myself.  His yoke is a yoke of freedom, freedom to offer my works to Heavenly Father; without obligation!  In fact, my joy would not allow me to do otherwise!  Since they are not required, my works become gifts of thanksgiving; gifts of selfless love.  Such works show God that I trust in his promise of undeserved forgiveness.  No one who is obligated to qualify for Heavenly Father’s forgiveness can present such a freely given gift of love.

Un-required works are a light burden.  Works that are thank-offerings to Heavenly Father are a light burden.  Works performed to love and glorify Heavenly Father are a light burden.  Self-less works (works not focused on gaining something for yourself) are a light burden.
