A Tale of Two Rings Part 2:

The Gift of Failure

This journal entry concludes my story about a pair of rings.  In the first installment I came to recognize that the beauty of Uriah’s ring was in it being a gift of love.  The ring came to symbolize the Messiah’s ultimate gift of love; his Atonement.  If you have not yet read this part of the story you will find it in the menu on the right under "A Tale of Two Rings: The Gift of Atonement".

My story continues by considering my other ring.  It too becomes symbolic of gifts of love.  But first Heavenly Father had another Lesson of Life for me to learn.  This lesson was taught by a teacher named Failure.

As I learned the lesson Heavenly Father had prepared it brought new significance to my turquoise ring.  But much more importantly it brought new importance to my life.  It freed me from a yoke of bondage and set me on a path of joy.  Now my life is dominated by the giving of gifts of love.
