James 2:10 The Demand of God's Commands
Ruby - James 2:10 - Break one command and you are guilty of breaking all the commands

James 2:10:  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Not every natural crystal is considered Gem quality.  Most crystals have far too many flaws and are too impure to be cut and polished into a radiant Gem stone.  Even those that make the grade typically contain flaws.  A grading scale used to classify the quality and thereby; the value, of a Gem stone.  The Gem stone that is perfect (of perfect cut, perfect color, and perfect clarity) is very rare.  The vast majority of Gem stones contain flaws.

This blood red Gem illuminates Heavenly Father's grading scale.  With it we can measure the quality and thereby the value of a person.  This is an important principle because unless a person scores high enough he or she will not gain Eternal Life.  Unlike the cut, color, clarity scale, this scale is extremely easy to use.  The highest value of the scale is guiltless; sinless.  The lowest value of the scale is guilty; sinful.  The cut, color, clarity scale uses an infinite number of intermediate values that fall between its highest and lowest extremes.  But Heavenly Father's scale uses only its highest and lowest extremes.  This grading scale is an example of an absolute.  A person is graded either absolutely sinless, absolutely guiltless, absolutely perfect, or that person is graded absolutely sinful, absolutely guilty, absolutely worthless.

How many people does a person need to kill to become a murderer?  Only one.  How many times does a person need to have sex outside of marriage to become an adulterer?  Only once.  How many white lies, how many unjust words, how many impure thoughts, how many transgressions of God's Commands before a person becomes a sinner?  Only one.  Disobey Heavenly Father once and you have broken the whole law.  Only one offense and you become imperfect, unholy, worthless and undeserving of Eternal Life.  It is like pricking a balloon with a pin.  Only one pin prick will cause the balloon to burst.  The balloon is now worthless.  Similarly, only one transgression will cause a person's perfection to burst.  The person is now considered worthless.  When it comes to using God's Commands as the way to measure a person's position on God's grading scale, only absolute perfect obedience results in a grade that qualifies for Eternal Life.  No flawed Gem  is worth to come into God's presence.
